Panel discussions
Sun 22 Nov
Space from different perspectives! Science, technology, literature and philosophy meet in conversations about space and humanity’s place in the Universe. The programme includes, among others, these panels:
“The legacy of Lem, Zajdel and Clarke: different views of space and humanity” – a conversation about how science fiction inspires us to explore the Universe and ask questions about the future of humankind. The panel brings together the humanities, science and engineering, encouraging reflection on the relationship between people and technology.
“Science and the space industry” – a discussion on cooperation between the scientific community and the space sector, and on the path from a research idea to practical application. It will present the opportunities for developing space technologies and the challenges of putting them into practice.
A chance to hear different points of view and discover how space research and imagination shape our future.
